The new Dixie Honey-flavoured Vodka contributes to honey bee preservation

The independent American craft spirit brand, Dixie Vodka, has started a partnership with Savannah Bee Company to launch a 40% ABV honey variant.

Among the different flavours offered; The Southern, The Black Pepper, Citrus and Mint, the new Dixie Wildflower Honey Vodka is their brand new option made with the traditional Dixie Southern Vodka and south-eastern wildflower honey from the Savannah Bee Company.

Dixie Vodka founder, Matti Anttila, is demonstrating his heritage pride by using only southern ingredients to distillate his products.

In addition to that, besides being a locally sourced ingredient beverage, the honey-flavoured variant is also a bee supportive.

Recent studies have demonstrated the negative effects our entire ecosystem would experience if this cute and fuzzy flying insect become extinct and how dangerous this could be for humans.

Dixie Vodka is well aware of this problematic. This is why a portion obtained from the new spirit will be transferred to benefit The Bee Cause Project.

This organization aims to provide education and a better understanding of honey bee’s role on earth to kids while developing STEAM skills. Their vision is to prepare the future generation with engagement towards mother nature.

The sweet taste of this new honey vodka allows it to be consumed on the rocks but can be enjoy in a cocktail as well.

Look for it starting this month in South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and Kentucky for $18.99 a 750ml bottle.
