vinexpo trade show

The third edition of Vinexpo New York arrives this March

The third edition of Vinexpo will bring together wine and spirit brands from all over the world next week in New York.

The Vinexpo trade fair is celebrating its third American edition. It is described as the largest trade fair focused on the North American wine and spirits market. It will take place on March 2 and 3 at the Jacob K Javits Convention Center. This 2020 edition of Vinexpo will highlight “healthy” alcohol, cannabis and sustainability.

Vinexpo will host exhibitors from 23 countries, including new Regional Pavilions from Georgia, Czech Republic and France. The Regional Pavilions allow buyers to find products made in specific regions. Countries participating for the first time include Switzerland, Slovenia, Latvia, Romania and Ukraine. Among other pavilions, the Organic Pavilion, a platform for producers of organic wines and spirits, will return.

For the 2020 edition, Vinexpo New York partnered with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) to expand its educational offerings with a dedicated space. In this space there will be areas such as the Challenge Your Senses experience and food and wine pairing seminars. In addition, there will be blind tasting demonstrations using the systematic tasting method of the WSET.

This year’s show has also launched a Key Buyer programme to attract high volume buyers of wines and spirits from major distributors and importers, as well as hospitality establishments.
