This bourbon just won the best bourbon of the year 2020 award
This small Texas distillery has created the best bourbon in the world according to 40 experts. Find out here.
On February 11, Ironroot Republic Harbinger bourbon whiskey was announced at the World Whisky Awards in New York as the “Best Bourbon in the World”.
The distillery located in northeast Texas creates its whiskies using locally grown corn varieties. This whiskey is available in limited markets outside your home for about $50.
The World Whisky Awards have in the past rewarded brands such as Four Roses (130th Anniversary Limited Edition). Or John J. Bowman Single Barrel and 1972 barrel strength. Although this is not the first award Ironroot has won, it is certainly a major prize to win the World Whisky Awards. Last year they won the American Wiskey Masters and the Texas Whiskey Festival. In 2018 they won a double medal in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
