Vera Wang collaborates with Chopin for a limited edition vodka
Starting this spring, fashion mogul Vera Wang will launch a vodka that will stand out as much as her fashion.
They call it the “first vodka-fashion collaboration ever launched in the United States.”. The limited edition bottle made between Vera Wang and Tad Dorda, CEO and founder of Chopin Vodka, has planned a release for this spring.
“Vera Wang personally selected a special variety of young potatoes that have never been on the market,” the brand said. “The potatoes used for the product are grown sustainably and without chemicals and pesticides in the village Krzesk, Poland, where the Chopin Vodka distillery is located.”
The distillery describes the vodka as a spirit “unlike any other to date”
“Working with Chopin Vodka was one of the most educational, fascinating and collaborative experiences I’ve ever had, learning how vodka is made and the various nuances of taste and texture. I am so grateful for the opportunity to co-create a spirit I adore so much, with such a storied and respected distiller,” Wang said in the announcement. “It is the culmination of my long love affair with vodka in the most personal and expressive way.”
Vera Wang was involved in the design process for the one-liter bottles, with “a modern, architectural and sophisticated iteration […] guaranteed to stand out in any bar,” Chopin said. The two-tone, black and white bottle has also a poem. An ” ‘ode’ to Wang’s unique relationship with vodka. How it makes her feel, the memories it evokes, and the emotion, The sensuality, and romance vodka represents to her.”
On the bottle we also see inscribed “tailor-made for Vera Wang.”
