El Tindero cocktail by Richie Cruz
We continue with our series of recipes, prepared by bartenders from all over the world. On this occasion we present Richie Cruz and his cocktail El Tindero. Richie is from the Philippines, and owns the Cobbler, in Philippines.
Among his cocktails he showed us El Tindero, which has tropical touches such as coconut presented in liquid and consistent form, and an interesting touch of beer reduction. Richie Cruz decided to share with Spirits Hunters, three of his favorite personalized recipes, but we chose El Tindero for this occasion.
This cocktail with which he participated in the Bacardi Legacy Cocktail Competition representing the Philippines. Previously he won third place in the Bols Around the World competition.
Here’s the recipe.
El Tindero
Ingredients:
Bacardi Gold
Muscovado Syrup
Coconut Milk
Apple cider vinegar
Pale Pilsen – reduced by 50%.
Angostura Bitters
Dried coconut for garnish
Preparation:
Cut back on the beer.
Mix the ingredients and proceed with the throwing method.
Serve in an old fashioned glass.
Taste.
