Nicolas Tricoire presents the UGVC cognac chest for La Part des Anges 2018
The UGVC (Union Générale des Viticulturiers pour l’AOC Cognac) presented its contribution for the exceptional charity auction La Part des Anges 2018. Nicolas Tricoire described the chest containing the cognac decanter.
The Drevelle chest is a representation of the cognac region. The base is made of oak and also contains some marquetry sheets made from the vine stock, known in the region as souchot. Finally the copper, on which the Cognac map is in design. All the elements create the representation of the whole Cognac viticulture.
The chest will be presented at the eleventh edition of La Part des Anges 2018, organized with Artcurial and to be held on September 20 at Les Chais Monnet in Cognac. The proceeds of this sale will be donated in part to Cuisine Mode d’Emploi(s), the rehabilitation school of Thierry Marx, supporter of this eleventh edition.
