Illustration: polpo-agency.com
For this cocktail whose complementary ingredient is the German liqueur kümmel, we chose to revisit it with a touch of Bénédictine.
Recipe
For 2 glasses:
1 measure of absinthe
” ” measure of Benedictine cold
” ” measure of Goldschlager (cinnamon liqueur) or cinnamon syrup.
Garnish: a small sage leaf
Pour half the absinthe into each shot glass. Gently pour the Benedictine on the back of the spoon. Form a layer on top of the absinthe. Finally, pour the cinnamon syrup or Goldschlager to finish.
Cheers!
Don’t drink and drive. Enjoy responsibly.
