These classic gin cocktail recipes that you should know

Not everything is “gin and tonic”, there are different cocktail recipes that you can prepare thanks to the different types of gin. Here are five classic gin cocktail recipes you should know.

 

GIN FIZZ

You can use any type of gin for this cocktail but the best recommendation is to use a classic gin “dry gin”, or fresh and fruity (elderflower or raspberry). Mix 45 ml of gin, 30 ml of fresh lemon juice, 10 ml of sugar syrup, soda and ice.

 

GIN MARTINI

A cocktail so simple it only needs dry vermouth, gin and ice. You can use any type of gin you want until you find your favorite taste. 50 ml of gin + 15 ml of dry vermouth. Ice.

 

GIN BRAMBLE

An easy and delicious recipe, originally British. For this cocktail you only need blackberry cream, the rest of the ingredients are easily available in your pantry. 60 ml gin, 30 ml fresh lemon juice, 15 ml sugar syrup, 15 ml blackberry cream, ice.

 

PINK GIN

A cocktail with history used by ancient sailors as medicine. Gin attenuated the taste of angostura bitter, used in the nineteenth century as medicine. This nice cocktail only needs 45 ml of gin and 3-4 dash of Angostura bitters. Use a slice of lemon to decorate the drink.

GIN BUCK

Gin Buck is a gaseous cocktail based on ginger ale. A quality gin and a quality ginger ale will create a perfect combination. The lemon will finish adding the special touch. Mix 60 ml of gin, 15 ml of fresh lemon juice and premium ginger ale.
