A Canadian rum for chocolate lovers
Canadian distilleries are renowned for producing rum with special notes, maple, cinnamon, or chocolate. This rum, from the Mariana distillery, will please chocolate lovers.
Morbleu Spicy Rum
This is a dark chocolate Canadian rum. Its dark color reveals the character of black rums as well as its chocolate aromas. It is the first rum of its kind and is produced by the Canadian distillery Mariana. It is a limited edition of 4800 bottles (collectors look out!).
Tasting notes
Chocolate is very present in this rum but with the necessary balance that does not turn it into a liqueur at all. Smooth, but not so much. We are tasting a rum where cocoa and vanilla are perfectly combined with notes of herbs and spices. Its taste persists in the mouth and it is very rich, in addition, the texture complements this tasting being smooth and fine.
In short, we are talking about a rum with character both at sight and in composition but which provides a subtle experience thanks to the contrast of its ingredients. The distillery provides an alcohol completely different to its typical productions.
Morbleu is perfect to taste with vanilla and banana ice cream.
Don’t drink and drive. Enjoy responsibly.
