Arcturial Auction set for 29 and 30 June for whisky and fine spirits collectors : Macallan, Gordon & MacPhail…

On 29 and 30 June, Artcurial will be holding a fine auction sale of 828 batches, including wines and spirits. The catalogue includes around a hundred high-quality spirits carefully selected by wine and spirits expert Laurie Matheson and co-expert Luc Dabadie.

The auction comprises 40 batches of whisky, some of which are very rare and old and that will arouse the curiosity of any whisky enthusiast and collector. Such as the The Macallan 1950 (estimate 5.000/6.000€), 1964 (estimate 4.000/4.500€). And 10 bottles of  1976 (valued 2.000/2.100€ each).

The catalogue comprises as well a bottle of Prestonfield Campbeltown 1977, 33 years old (estimate 1.300/1.400€), and whiskies from closed scottish distilleries like a bottle of Littlemill 1991 Gordon & MacPhail, 24 years old (estimate 650/700€) or the bottle of Brora 37, years old (estimate 2.400/2.500€).

Great provenance and storage in various family cellars, make of this bottles a relish for the amateur or collector.
