Bartender Tom Sipos winner of the elit® Art of Martini 2018 competition

The multi awarded elit® vodka by Stolichnaya announced that bartender Tom Sipos won the elit® Art of Martini 2018 competition, which took place during World Martini Day in Bilbao, Spain on June 19th, prior to the World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2018.

The contest gives the opportunity to create an exclusive Martini and face the challenge against the best bartenders in the world. According to Itespresso, the Austrian bartender won for his cocktail recipe, the most avant-garde Martini cocktail of the competition.

According to BusinessInsider This year’s judges of the competition Alessandro Palazzi, head barman and Martini master at Dukes in London, Juan Valls from the Lost Child Cocktail bar in Spain and Simone Bodini, elit Vodka international brand ambassador.

Undeniably a step forward in the world of mixology, since this competition recreates the classic Martini, made out of vodka, with avant garde touches to create the most original recipe.
