Buffalo Trace Whiskey Distillery Named Best of 2020
In the midst of the covid-19 storm, the American whiskey distillery Buffalo Trace gets the good news. Best distillery of the year!
The Buffalo Trace American Whiskey Distillery has won the award for Best Distillery of the Year. The award is of utmost importance, coming from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2020. The prestigious competition awarded Buffalo Trace having the most points accumulated. That is, measured by the number and level of awards won in a given year. Buffalo Trace Distillery won 18 medals and a “Best In Class” designation for its spirits.
The medal count is distributed as follows. Five Double Gold Medals, four Gold Medals, six Silver Medals and three Bronze Medals. In addition, to win the title of Best Small Batch Bourbon 11 Years and Older, thanks to their Eagle Rare 17 bottle.
Harlen Wheatley, master distiller, said: “Our focus has always been to make quality spirits, so this honor motivates us to continue the hard work and maintain the demands we have made on ourselves. This is an ongoing team effort. We are very proud and grateful for the work of every member of our team in bringing our whiskies to this level of recognition“.
