Funkin 2019 cocktail and bartending competition welcomes applications
The bartending competition Funkin Cocktails Innovation Championship 2019, awaits this year’s participants under the theme 1990.
A nineties theme to test the participants of this year’s Funkin championship. Bartenders willing to participate still have a chance to register until July 31. For this, it is necessary to propose a creation of original Funkin cocktail under the theme 1990. In fact, in this decade the brand was invented.
The cocktail must be easy to reproduce, and must contain at least 25 ml of Funkin Pro Purée and Funkin Pro Cocktail Syrup purée.
For Funkin’s marketing director, it’s important to have “bartenders who can really get out of the ordinary,” explains Ben Anderson, “Funkin has brought innovation to the cocktail industry for 20 years, and this year we’re asking our competitors to recreate the 1990s, famous for fun“.
This year’s competition will be led by Stuart Bale, director, along with experts. Bartenders will learn, experiment and test themselves to create magnificent cocktails on the day of the final at the Crucible London.
The winner will receive £1000.00 cash, a one-year part-time contract with Funkin Cocktails and a paid per diem trip to Bar Convent Berlin. Sounds tempting!
