Largest gin and rum festival in the UK kicks off
In search of the largest gin and rum festival? You can venture to the UK this summer for a gin and tonic in the sun.
It’s the UK’s largest traveling gin and rum festival. The Gin and Rum Festival is back and will take place in 14 cities, kicking off on July 23 in Manchester and culminating in Reading on November 27.
Visitors will be able to enjoy tastings thanks to distilleries present, discover new brands and cocktails at gin and rum themed bars and sample snacks from street food vendors.
As for the learning experience, the gin and rum festival offers lectures and masterclasses led by expert gin and rum producers, and thanks to the guides on hand you won’t miss a thing as they will advise you throughout the event. It will also be possible to get free samples, enjoy live music and entertainment. All of the above is included in the price of the festival ticket.
Your own glass and Gin and Rum Festival satchel will also be included.
To complete the taste experience, there will be much more than just gin and rum at the festival to sample, such as vodka, prosecco and beer.
The Gin and Rum Festival 2021
Tickets to the Festival cost £15 and are on sale now via the event website.
Each bar will operate on a token system which can be purchased with cash or card on arrival at the festival. Each token costs £6 and can be exchanged for any 35ml gin or rum with a premium tonic or mixer plus a garnish.
