Last Mountain Canadian whisky micro-distillery of the year
The Canadian micro-distillery won the award for Best Whisky Distillery of the Year at the Canadian Whisky Awards in the city of Victoria.
2019 gets off to a good start for Last Mountain Distillery. The Canadian whisky distillery located in Lumsden won the award for best micro distillery, but also for best single barrel whisky -single cask- taking the gold medal.
For Braeden Raiwet, master distiller, Last Mountain owes its successes to the regional ingredients from Saskatchewan they use to produce their whiskies.
The tasting during the Canadian Whisky Awards was conducted blindly, judging each spirit by its taste, aroma and texture.
