Rum from Martinique wins several awards at the Brussels World Competition

The French Caribbean rums shone at the Brussels World Competition!

Martinique’s production of agricultural rums has been given great reasons to be on everyone’s lips. Their different rum distilleries, including all producers combined, have been awarded with more than 50 gold and silver medals at the international liquor competition, Spirits Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.

Whiskey, cognacs, rums, vodkas, and gins from everywhere in the world were the participating categories during this renowned event. The spirits are examined and rated by world-wide known experts on distillery processes.

The winners were:

Saint-James Rhum Vieux Agricole with four medals including three gold and Rhum Agricole Blanc Neisson from the Agricultural Rum category, and Liqueur Clément Be Red from the Liqueur-Crème category, the three of them from Martinique.

The event took place from 21 to 23 August 2018 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
