Scotland. McQueen Gin releases limited edition of color changing gin
In Scotland, gin tasters will be privileged as McQueen Gin’s new gin, the Scottish artisanal distillery, will be available (for now) in the country’s Aldi stores.
Gin doesn’t just change color once, if you add lemon your gin will turn pink, and when you add a tonic it will change color again. The effect is given thanks to Asian butterfly flower petals, which change from pale sapphire to pink when the pH levels of the petals are altered.
This is not the first time that McQueen and Aldi have teamed up for a new product. On this occasion both producers feel confident to conquer the market with this novelty. Forest Fruits Colour Changing Gin is available in 50cl.
Don’t drink and drive. Enjoy responsibly.
