Spain. Salmon Guru unveils new menu
The Madrid bar, recognized last year at the Spirited Awards of Tales of the Cocktail as one of the 10 best openings in 2017 and ranked 82nd in the world by World’s 50 Best Bars, just introduced its most ambitious menu a few days ago.
Presented in a luxurious bound book format, the menu could have just been elegant. But it is also surprising: the client will find in its centre a colourful pop up illustration that highlights some of Madrid’s most iconic monuments.
Of course, the menu offers other surprises: its cocktails. Diego Cabrera and his team highlight local or exotic products (from Mexican mezcal to Argentinean aperitifs) for creations served in custom-made receptacles.
Open since summer 2016, Salmon Guru is a reference of the cocktail in Madrid. Cabrera is currently working on the opening of a second bar.
