Spirited Awards 2018: London and Singapore top nominees

The twelfth edition of the Cocktail Spirited Awards, one of the most important awards in the world of mixology and bartending is approaching and has already revealed the list of nominees, categories and judges participating. It will take place on July 21 in New Orleans, and is held as part of the international festival Tales of the Cocktail.

London and Singapore top the list of top nominees, London with 31 nominations and Singapore with 11 for the international categories. Both cities participate in the categories of World’s Best Cocktail and Selection of the World’s Best Spirits. However, London has 4 different bars for the category Best New International Cocktail Bar and 6 nominations for Best International Bar Restaurant, thus leading the category representing the British city.

Both London and Singapore cities will face the highest nominations (three for each) in the International Bartender of the Year category:

Chris Moore, Coupette – London
Remy Savage, Artesian – London
Marcis Dzelzainis, Sager and Wilde – London
Joe Schofield, Tippling Club – Singapore
Luke Whearty, Operation Dagger – Singapore
Roman Foltan, Atlas – Singapore
