Recently the whiskey brand revealed in a commercial the true story of Jack Daniels and his method of distillation.
In a commercial starring actor Jeffrey Wright, Jack Daniels pays tribute to his true master distiller, a slave named Green Nearest, who taught young Jack Daniels everything and whose boss was Dan Call. Dan Call was supposed to have taught Daniels everything.
From now on, a bottle called “Uncle Nearest 1856 Premium Whiskey” has been marketed as a tribute to Nearest.
An opportunity to tell the true story of Jack Daniels’ distillation in an era shaken by differences.
