UK enjoys increased sales of flavored gin

Flavored gin, we have been saying, a sector that goes from strength to strength. After Spain, the United Kingdom is an example with an increase in sales of flavored gin of + 751%.

The Wine and Spirits Trade Association reveals these figures in the sales analysis of the last two years. It highlighted the growth of flavoured gin, which was valued at 165 million pounds sterling (216 million dollars) in 2018, representing a growth of 751% compared to 2017.

WSTA remains positive on this growth. Miles Beale, the CEO of WSTA comments that they fully expect to see an increase during the month of March, as last year.

The pink gin is the one that has more market share, increasing its sales especially during the first quarter of the year, period in which Mother’s Day takes place.
