bar caché à Paris speakeasy in paris

Beyond the bistro lies an unexpected universe: the Bar des Clos Speakeasy in Paris

This speakeasy in Paris, hidden behind two discreet doors tucked away in the adjoining restrooms, Bar des Clos reveals itself in the true spirit of a speakeasy: an intimate, cherry-red cocktail bar, designed as a destination in its own right.

With its vintage-inspired décor and a carefully curated soundtrack, the venue offers a warm, intimate setting—perfect for savoring contemporary cocktails with a bold character.

A cocktail menu imagined by Benjamin Chiche

The menu, imagined by mixologist Benjamin Chiche (founder of Liquid Signature Studio), strikes a balance between precision and accessibility. It features 10 signature cocktails and 2 alcohol-free creations, crafted to guide guests through a sensory experience.

The bar is run by Vincent Berthe, a talented bartender in his early thirties and Benjamin’s former colleague at Magniv. Each drink is designed as a journey, inviting guests to explore unexpected pairings and new flavors.

Must-try signature cocktails at Bar des Clos

Among the signatures, the Dirty Negroni reinterprets the classic with a Mediterranean touch: it combines gin, Campari, and red vermouth, elevated by olive oil and candied Saumur lemon zest.

The Lychee Martini offers a lighter, more contemporary note thanks to vodka, lychee liqueur, and St-Germain.

For a refreshing, summer-inspired twist, Scandal Water brings together vodka, Menthe Pastille, honey-cidre vinegar, watermelon, goat’s milk, and pink pepper.

Lastly, La Hacienda draws on the flavors of Latin America: tequila, mezcal, lime juice, corn syrup, coffee, cinnamon, and tonka come together in a warm and original blend.

Don’t drink and drive. Enjoy responsibly.
