Check out our Best Bars In Dallas list

#1: Monarch

Not really a casual bar, but it’s on the 49th floor downtown and has views for days. Since the elevator ride is “soooo long” they give you a glass of champagne for the ride up. The cocktails are like $20 a piece, but the people watching pays for itself. Strict dress code is enforced.

#2: Catbird

Located in the same building as Monarch, it’s on the 8th floor, has great DJs and is a bit more relaxed than Monarch.

#3: Happiest Hour

Great place for excellent food, great and creative cocktails, and a huge patio. Anything by the Harwood District team is killer.

#4: The Rustic

Incredible tacos/food! And they have this margarita with a frozen sangria popsicle in it. They bring bands and have an outstanding patio outside.

#5: Parliament

Happy hour every day until 8, all day on Mondays, and any time it rains. You should definitely check out the $5 batched old fashions! The only reason it’s half way down the list is because it’s very tiny. Only about 20-25 people can fit in the building, but if you can get there early or get a spot at the bar or table, you’re set!

#6: Meddlesome Moth

The Meddlesome Moth is a gastropub for the beer folks. They have tons on draft! They have really cool/old/ornate stained glass ceilings, great apps, great brunch, and overall vibe is fun.

#7: Bourbon & Banter

This is very much a speakeasy vibe. Reservation only right now but it’s in the bottom floor/basement area of the Statler Hotel/Residences. You have to go through a phone booth and a wall opens up. Great bourbon/whiskey selection and great cocktails.

#8: Midnight Rambler

It’s another speakeasy vibe of a place in the basement of the Joule Hotel in downtown – Very bougie! Honestly, the only reason this is so far down on the list is because sometimes the music is SO loud, you can’t hear yourself think…

#9: The Henry

Great two story building plus patio. Super mixologists and great overall vibe.

#10: Harper’s

As described by the venue itself: Everything about Harper’s, from its vibrant ambiance to the elevated cocktails and cuisine, is designed to stand out.

Don’t drink and drive. Enjoy responsibly.
