LG HomeBrew allows you to create your own beer with pods
Many devices have been created for home brewing, but LG HomeBrew breaksthrough a new way thanks to Keurig pods.
Previously we showed you Keurig’s cocktail machine, Drinkworks Home Bar. The same one prepares cocktails thanks to capsules that contain the recipes of cocktails. These capsules known as pods are created by Keurig and will be the same ones that will make available the capsules for LG HomeBrew, which will contain malt, yeast, hop oil and flavourings.
Users will be able to enjoy beer varieties such as IPA, Pale ale, Stout, Wheat and Pilsner. But watch out, you won’t be able to taste your beer for at least two weeks. When you insert your capsule the machine will start a process of fermentation, aging and carbonation. After these two weeks, you will have about five gallons of beer, approximately 10 pints.
To follow the production process of your beer, HomeBrew has a digital system that helps you control it from an application. HomeBrew has been designed with algorithms and has internal controls to monitor pressure, temperature and optimal conditions to create a good beer.
The machine was recently presented at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on January 6. Moreover, the date of sale has not been revealed. Soon it will go out to commercial establishments along with other LG products.
Don’t drink and drive. Enjoy responsibly.
