A bar in New York owned by two young Irish men named among the “best bars in the world”

An “Irish bar and the best of its kind”, owned by two young Irish people from New York, has been named as one of the best bars in the world, according to the ranking organized by William Reed Business Media.

McGarry and Muldoon opened their ad in Manhattan in 2013. The three-storey bar is built around a traditional Irish scene, yet has a modern and elegant look : “You can enjoy it on many levels. It’s an Irish bar and the best of its kind, a cocktail bar with some of the tastiest cocktails of the moment, or a brand steeped in stories – including comic book menus, books, products and services.

The Dandelyan in London was voted the best bar in the world this year, followed by the American Bar – also in London – with Manhattan in Singapore taking third place.

The historic Dead Rabbit pub, owned by Jack McGarry and Sean Muldoon, was proclaimed 16th in the prestigious 2018 World Ranking for Best Bars. The Dead Rabbit suffered a setback last July when a fire caused considerable damage.
After being closed for three weeks, work is currently underway to expand their famous machine room, which according to the Worlds Top 50 Bars website, could lead to a new expansion of their business.

So who will be voted best bar in 2019 ?
