Beer, Tequila and Mezcal accumulate more than $3 billion in sales
Sales of beer, tequila and mezcal from Mexico to the world total 3.745 billion dollars.
Between January and July 2020, sales of beer, mezcal and tequila from Mexico to the world reached 3,745 million dollars. That is, beer with sales of 2,493 million dollars; mezcal and tequila 1,252 million dollars.
The commercial balance shows an increase of 19% from January to July 2020 compared to the same period last year.
In total the agricultural and fishing sector in Mexico registers a strong increase with a surplus of 4,366 million dollars.
Among the products that registered a stronger increase in demand we find in the alcohols tequila and mezcal with 12.9%. Wheat is in first place with 44.2%.
