Canada. “Imperative”: vermouth is also produced in the province of British Columbia

A traditional dry vermouth, Imperative, emerges from the province of British Columbia. Congratulations. Vermouth production and spirits sales are currently booming, and Ampersand Distilling Co. could not miss out.

This traditional dry vermouth from Ampersand Distilling Co is made from organic grapes from the Saanich Peninsula. It is fortified with Per Se vodka, a vodka from Ampersand, also made from organic wheat.

The distillery joined in the production of vermouth by creating Imperative, with the goal of creating more spirits that “inspire people’s creativity,” says Jessica Schacht, co-founder and recipe developer at Ampersand Distilling Co. Imperative. It is perfect for making martinis, and contains natural extracts, orange peel, chamomile, toasted dandelion root, marjoram, juniper and coriander.

Don’t drink and drive. Enjoy responsibly.
