Hibiki whisky celebrates its 30th anniversary with an artistic design

Hibiki, the Japanese whisky brand owned by Beam Suntory, unveiled a limited edition bottle design on the occasion of its 30th anniversary on October 1st. Created in 1989, the brand launched its Hibiki Japanese Harmony expression, a blend of grain and malt whiskies from the Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries in 2015.
Hibiki highlights its origins through representations of Japanese art and design.
According to Takahiro Itoga, Senior Director of the global brand at Beam Suntory: “This specially designed bottle honors this spirit by using traditional Japanese symbols to create a design that represents both celebration and shared happiness. The bottle itself is a work of art, making it the ideal gift for the holiday season. »
The bottle was inspired by a traditional kimono motif and is decorated with tabane-noshi, the traditional Japanese symbol of the celebration.
To be precise, tabane-noshi, corresponds to long, thin strips of dried abalone meat, once used to wrap gifts according to certain Shintos rituals.

To discover this magnificent bottle of whisky you have to go to the United States! However, we hope that it will arrive soon in France.

Don’t drink and drive. Enjoy responsibly.
