How to spice up your Ginto with herbs ?

In partnership with Coca-Cola, we ask an expert to show us how to spice up your cocktails :

People are becoming more and more informed about what they drink. As a result, they’re looking for something a little different.” says Kurtis Bosley, bar manager of the Public House Management group in Sydney.

Many bars really push the boundaries with combinations of flavours,” he says. “I think this is reflected in the classic cocktails that are now twisted.”

It is with a simple recipe that uses gin, white vermouth and tonic water, that he added a basic herb: thyme with lemon. But that makes all the difference to your Gin! Although this bar manager himself grows the thyme and lemon filling, it can be found in most supermarkets.

Ingredients: 1 0z gin, 1/3 oz ml white vermouth, fresh juice of half a lemon, tonic water, lemon & thyme to garnish.

Method: Fill a large glass with ice. Add gin, vermouth and lemon. Cover with tonic and stir. Garnish with thyme and lemon.

Have a good tasting !
