Laurie Matheson presents a bottle from the Ichiro’s Malt Card whisky collection – Artcurial Auction Sale December 15 – 17
I choose to present you a Japanese Whisky, from the Hanyu distillery closed in 2000 and bottled by the very famous Ichiro Akuto.
After buying the stocks following the closure, he chose to bottle limited series every year. Each bearing the name of a playing card (Queen of Hearts, King of Spades…) thus was born Ichiro’s Malt Card collection. These bottles are rare and sought after by the great amateurs as much to consume them as to collect them.
