Negroni Week: one cocktail for charity

The fourth edition of Negroni Week began to celebrate the famous cocktail and raise funds for charity around the world. The Negroni Week organized by Imbibe and Campari lasts 7 days and this year the dates are June 4-10.

Around 9000 bars and restaurants between the American, European and Asian continents join the cause. To date, they have raised $1.5 million since 2013. For each sale of cocktails sold in the participating establishments, a fraction of the sale is destined to the charity to which the bar or restaurant has allied with.

From the cocktail shaker’s point of view, this week also serves to bring into action original Negroni recipes, variations, personalized creations. However, the cocktail that has been causing a stir in the news was the $1250 version of the Negroni Sbagliato de luxe from the Fine and Rare bar in Manhattan.

At the end of the week, a recount of all the proceeds from each bar, restaurant and association is made.
