According to the newspaper 20minutes, bars will be able to partially reopen as of this Friday, May 22nd. Bars and wine tasting rooms will be able to increase their capacity by up to 25%.
According to the local authorities, the exception will apply to contamination clusters, they announced on Monday. This measure will apply even if the number of people affected by the coronavirus increases in this southern state of the United States.
“The state of Texas is ready to move into the second phase of the reopening of businesses,” Gov. Greg Abbott said at a press conference Monday.
As of Friday, restaurants will be able to increase their capacity to receive customers from 20 to 25%.
