cremant

What if your next “champagne” came from the Jura?

Crémant du Jura is like Champagne’s cooler cousin. Same traditional winemaking method, classy grapes, fine bubbles… just without the fancy price tag. The result? A sparkling gem with style—and no snobbery.

When to serve it?

Aperitif, weddings, dinner with friends, Sunday brunch, a chic picnic or a casual cheese board with local Jura fromage… it fits any occasion. Even big love declarations—or the day after a wild night (drink responsibly, of course).

Why choose a crémant over champagne?

Because it’s delicious, fresh, honest, often organic or artisanal—and it supports Jura’s winemakers. And let’s be real: discovering a sparkling wine with real character is a refreshing change from flashy fizz.

Bonus: It can even replace prosecco in your stylish cocktails. So go ahead—drink French and give it a try!

17 medals at the 2025 National Crémant Competition

Crémant du Jura shone brightly at the 2025 Concours National des Crémants, winning 17 medals—9 gold and 8 silver—across the eight competing French appellations.

Gold medal winners include: Baud Génération 9, Maison du Vigneron, Rolet Père et Fils, Fruitière Vinicole de Pupillin (in both white and rosé), and the Caveau des Byards. These cuvées were praised for their freshness, elegant bubbles, and pure expression of Jura grape varieties.

The 8 silver medals also mark the rise of estates like Charles de Fère, Domaine Jacques Tissot, and once again, the Fruitière de Pupillin.

This impressive record cements Crémant du Jura’s standing in the world of premium French sparkling wines—blending authenticity, terroir, and craftsmanship.

Can Crémant du Jura rival Champagne in quality?

Yes, absolutely. Made using the same traditional method, with noble grape varieties and increasing precision, Crémant du Jura often delivers the same fine bubbles and aromatic complexity as certain Champagnes—at a more accessible price.

When can it replace Champagne?

It works wonderfully both as an aperitif and at the table. Its fresh, sincere character makes it a great choice for weddings, celebrations, or food pairings—especially with fish, seafood, or local Jura cheeses.

Why choose crémant over champagne?

To experience a different kind of French sparkle: more artisanal, often more locally committed, and full of genuine taste. Its outstanding value for money is one of its greatest strengths. And yes—it can replace prosecco in a spritz.

So drink French, and discover the Crémants of Jura!
