Three French Spritz Cocktail versions you should try

Imagine yourself enjoying a summer terrace, tasting in one hand an original and refreshing version of spritz.

The acclaimed summer drink also finds its place in the originality. In fact, in France, they have prepared versions of the Italian drink with local hints. More specifically, instead of Prosecco, the latter should be replaced by crémant.

Taste these French spritz cocktail versions, prepared by renowned bars in the country, from Dijon to Paris, and a bar outside the country, surprise. Let’s get to work!

 

1. Cartron Spritz for the bar Moutarde, Dijon

Cartron Spritz is extremely fruity, and in the mouth, bubbles and is deliciously sweet. To prepare it you will need:

Ingredients

10 ml Joseph Cartron wild raspberry spirit

25 ml Joseph Cartron Cherry Cream

10 ml lemon juice

100 ml Joseph Cartron Crémant de Bourgogne

Garnish: slice of lemon, cherries and raspberries

Preparation: add all the ingredients in your spritz glass (of wine) previously filled with ice. Mix the ingredients with a mixing spoon.

 

2. Victoria’s Spritz, by The Cash Only Bar, Prague

This cocktail inspired by French ingredients was created by bartender David Andrle from The Cash Only bar. A delicate cocktail, with violet aromas and inspired by a perfume of the delicate Victoria’s Secret brand.

Ingredients

20 ml of Gin Monkey 47

10 ml fresh lemon juice

5 ml Joseph Cartron Violet Liqueur

5 ml sugar syrup

30 ml sparkling water

50 ml Joseph Cartron Crémant de Bourgogne

Spray jasmine water

Preparation: add the ingredients to the glass with ice, and stir with a mixing spoon. Decorate the cocktail with a violet petal and sprinkle with jasmine water.

 

3. Classic White Spritz, by Les Grands Verres bar, Paris

This recipe for the classic white Spritz cocktail is provided by bartender Matthias Ingelmann. Perfect to end the afternoon and start the evening as an aperitif, partly for its fresh notes of olives and lemon.

Ingredients

45 ml of Cap Corse Mattei white

5 ml of Oli’still Manguin

1 pinch of salt

100 ml Joseph Cartron Crémant de Bourgogne
