Two cocktail recipes to enjoy after a winter hike, a season that for some is still left for a moment.
Both in the mountains and in the city, returning home after a cold day out deserves a hot cocktail. Here we propose two cocktail recipes prepared by Daphnée Lacroix, manager of Tapageur, a Canadian bar and restaurant in Sherbrook.
Cocktail with warm Quebec apple cider with pineapple and Sainte-Marie rum
Measures for 5 persons
4oz of Rabaska cider
1oz ml Sainte-Marie rum, a rum made in Montreal from molasses
20z pineapple juice
1/2oz homemade Tiki syrup with 5 spices or maple syrup if not available
*For a non-alcoholic version, use apple juice
Hot chocolate cocktail with cocoa 70%
70% cocoa chocolate
Maple Cream Coureur des Bois
Homemade marshmallow in whisky
A classic cocktail, with Coureur des Bois cream and milk.
