The Hierba Santa, an anecdote by Julien Escot
“A Margarita with an aperitif flavour and fragrant notes. The name of this cocktail was inspired by the Hierba Santa, a spicy-scented plant used in Mexican cuisine.”
Hierba Santa Cocktail Recipe
40 ml tequila blanco
15 ml Cointreau
10 ml agave syrup with vanilla and pepper
10 ml Campari
20 ml fresh lemon juice
Preparation
Pour the ingredients into a shaker filled with ice cubes. Shake vigorously, then filter over the serving glass. Garnish, and do not hesitate to taste it as soon as possible.
