THE MAYAN a cocktail based on tequila by Alex Valencia
A cocktail from bartender Alex Valencia that combines tropical flavors like coconut and typical Mexican flavors like habanero pepper.
COCKTAIL THE MAYAN
2 oz Tequila infused coconut
1/2 oz corn purée
3/4 oz lime juice
1/2 oz agave syrup
5-6 drops habanero tincture
Method: Put all the ingredients into a shaker add ice and shake for 8-10 seconds
Glass: Margarita glass or cocktail glass.
Garnish: Coconut flakes on top.
Get the esquites and make boil it with water, add salt. Then blended and strain.
FOR A BATCH OF 100 PEOPLE (full cocktail each one)
8 btls Milagro tequila
2 bags coconut flakes
2 btls of 750ml corn purée.
2 btls 750ml agave syrup.
3 btls 750 ml lime juice
10oz habanero tinture.
3 bags of coconut flakes.
